Welcome to Freedom Baptist Church
My name is Todd Anderson, and it is my privilege to be the pastor of the Freedom Baptist Church of Twentynine Palms, California. I am 37 years old. My wife’s name is Debra and we have two children; Hannah is 7 and Robert is 6.
I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour when I was 9 years old. After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served with the First Battalion, Tenth Marine Regiment, at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I served 4 years and was honorably discharged from active duty. I returned to central Illinois, where God led me to attend Bay View Baptist Church. It was there that I began to grow in the Lord, and where God gave me my dear wife. We were married in 1998. A short time later God called me into the ministry and we moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, where I became a student of Crown College of the Bible, a local church ministry of Temple Baptist Church.
It was during my time at Temple Baptist Church that God called us to the ministry of planting an independent, fundamental Baptist church in Twentynine Palms, California. Allow me to extend a personal invitation to you to visit us for one of our services.
